Clancyjames Yeronga has been recognised as a leader in the area of red meat retailing. It was awarded the 2010 AMIC (Australian Meat Industry Council) Queensland Butcher Shop of the Year Award.
This award recognises Excellence in overall shop presentation over a 12 month period, including signage, display of meats, cleanliness of shop and staff, hygiene procedures used, business operation and presentation, apprenticeship support, staff presentation and efficiency, compliance with industry rules and regulations and contribution to the meat industry.
Judging is conducted by industry representatives following nominations by industry representatives who visit butcher store on a regular basis.
